Google Pixel 3/Pixel 3 XL appear on FCC with Band 71 support on T-Mobile

The post Google Pixel 3/Pixel 3 XL appear on FCC with Band 71 support on T-Mobile appeared first on BardTech . It’s that time of the year again: Google is preparing to launch their next generation of Pixel devices this October . This time around, the Google Pixel 3 and the Google Pixel 3 XL will appear, though sadly the Pixel Watch has been delayed . We already know pretty much everything about the larger Pixel 3 XL and have recently seen some real-life pictures of the smaller Pixel 3 , but the devices are still over a month away from their official announcement. As we approach the announcement, both phones have now stopped by the FCC, giving us a look at the connectivity information. The Google Pixel 3 and the Google Pixel 3 XL both bear model numbers G103A and G103C. Presumably, the former is the regular Google Pixel 3 while the latter is the bigger Google Pixel 3 XL. Both Google Pixel phones are designed entirely in-house by Google and manufactured by Foxconn , in contras...

This is the Google Assistant UI that likely shows when you dock the Google Pixel 3 into the Pixel Stand

The post This is the Google Assistant UI that likely shows when you dock the Google Pixel 3 into the Pixel Stand appeared first on BardTech . Google is set to unveil the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL at their annual hardware event (albeit at a different time and place from earlier years .) There’s little we don’t know about the upcoming Google Pixel 3 XL thanks to pre-production units making their way to the Ukraine and Russia. Even the Pixel 3 XL’s smaller sibling, the Pixel 3, recently appeared on camera . We know nearly all the specifications , the design , and even some of the new software features . We’ve long suspected that the Google Pixel 3 series will feature wireless charging and the latest leaks confirmed the feature . We’ve also heard about a possible wireless charging dock for the device called the “ Pixel Stand .” Now, we’ve managed to activate the special UI in Google Assistant that likely launches when you dock the Google Pixel 3 or Google Pixel 3 XL into the P...

Google Pixel 3 (not Pixel 3 XL) finally shows up in leaked photos

The post Google Pixel 3 (not Pixel 3 XL) finally shows up in leaked photos appeared first on BardTech . The Pixel 3 XL has shown up in nearly constant leaks over the past few weeks. We were able to write over 3,000 words about everything we know about it and the event is still over a month away.  While all of these leaks have been pouring in, one question has been on our mind: where is the Google Pixel 3? We finally have our first look. We’ve seen the Pixel 3 in renders before, but never real-life photos. The Pixel 3 is a smaller device with the same specs, but one really big difference: no display notch. The display notch has been a big point of contention with the Pixel 3 XL leaks. This has lead a lot of people to crown the Pixel 3 as the better option. These leaked photos from Reddit (obviously a throwaway account) show the front, back, and sides of the Pixel 3. We can see the 5.5-inch display with 18:9 aspect ratio and 2160×1080 resolution. Here are ...

Google Pixel 3 may be officially unveiled on October 9th

The post Google Pixel 3 may be officially unveiled on October 9th appeared first on BardTech . While pretty much everything about the Pixel 3 XL is out in the open , we don’t actually know when it (or its smaller variant) will be announced. Many assumed that for the third year in a row we’d be seeing an October 4th launch, but a report from Bloomberg actually suggests that to be incorrect. According to the report, Google intends to launch the new Google Pixel devices at a media event in New York City on October 9th. Previously, the Pixel devices were launched in San Francisco. Given that it’s  Bloomberg , there’s no real reason to doubt the report. That’s not all we expect to see announced at the time, either. According to WinFuture , we could well be seeing the introduction of not one, not two, but three new Google Pixel smartwatches . Interestingly, they’re set to launch only a short while after the next Snapdragon Wear OS chip is set to release as well. Alongside those...

Google Pixel 3/3 XL may have updated Visual Core chip & supports “Super Selfies”

The post Google Pixel 3/3 XL may have updated Visual Core chip & supports “Super Selfies” appeared first on BardTech . The camera is a big part of what makes the Pixel phones so popular. We’ve already seen the Pixel 3 XL a many ,  many , many times, but earlier this week we saw some camera samples . A few of those samples showed off the front-facing camera. Today, we’re learning a little more about the front-facing cameras on the Pixel 3 devices and why the notch is so big on the Pixel 3 XL. According to sources at 9to5Google , the dual front-facing cameras are for better selfies, something Google may call “Super Selfies.” Both the Pixel 3 XL and smaller Pixel 3 have these dual cameras, but they are more noticeable in the notch on the XL. The photos are said to have more faux bokeh improvements in Portrait Mode. The second camera sensor is a wide-angle lens. Face retouching will also get an update with new “Natural” and “Soft” options. It seems that selfies w...
